These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and the moving services offered by Sopko Moving and Storage (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a family-owned moving company based in Manville, New Jersey. By using this site or requesting a quote, you agree to the terms below.
Our Services
Sopko Moving and Storage provides local, long-distance, residential, and commercial moving, along with packing, storage, and related services across Manville, Somerset County, and the wider Raritan Valley.
We are licensed in New Jersey as a Public Mover and hold US DOT and MC authority for interstate moves. We operate with our own crew and trucks; we are not a broker or matching service.
Quotes and Pricing
We provide a flat written rate based on the information you give us about your move, including the origin, destination, home size, and date. Quotes are good-faith estimates based on that information.
Significant changes to the scope of the move, such as added items, access issues, or a changed date, may affect the final price. Any such change will be discussed with you.
Scheduling and Cancellations
Moving dates are confirmed once scheduled. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact our Manville office as early as possible so we can adjust our crew and truck assignments. We will do the same in the rare event circumstances on our end require a change.
Liability and Coverage
Every move we perform is covered by $1M in cargo coverage, and we are fully licensed and insured. Our liability for loss or damage is governed by the applicable terms of your moving agreement and by New Jersey and federal regulations covering household goods carriers.
